Feminine Christmas Tag - Day 9

Ellen Hutson's The CLASSroom has such gorgeous inspiration for it's 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist.  Day 9, with Paula Cheney is such girly goodness.  Here is her tag:

35
And my version:

Started with an ivory die cut tag and smeared it in distress inks.  After it dried, embossed it with an embossing folder and then painted some of the raised areas with Perfect Pearls gold and water.  I didn't have a wreath die, so I die cut a ring using 2 sizes of circles and glued the newsprint to some grunge board and die cut some leaves.  Cut the leaves apart and arranged on the circle to make the wreath.  Added a little sponging with Distress Ink and then rubbed on some Distressed Stickles in Worn Lipstick.  Made the bow as per her instructions.  Punched the little branches out of kraft cardstock, colored with Distress Stain in Tarnished Brass then added Stickles in Old Paper.  Stamped the sentiments in Memento Rich Cocoa on ivory cs, die cut and adhered to the tag.  Added pink pearls and tied with twine.

Christmas Tags and Birthday

I love the Twelve Tags of Christmas with a feminine twist at Ellen Hutson's, The CLASSroom.

Inspired by Day 1, I love how Sharon did the background this way.

Inspired by Day 3,  I love Julie's fun design.

Inspired by Day 4, Jennifer made some beautiful accents by cutting and coloring the metal sheets.

Inspired by Day 7, Julia made an incredibly shimmery, gorgeous tag.

This is for a late December birthday, right before Christmas.  I didn't want anything, remotely Christmasy for this, so I went with sparkly balloons and primary colors.
I used the sketch from MOJO Monday

Sparkly 25th

I used the color challene from The Play Date Cafe

and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch

And for the Crafty Friends Challenge to make a CAS card.

Die cut the black dotted line dp.  Die cut the 25 in the deep red piece and adhered strips of Scor Tape behind the cut out and sprinkled black glitter over the 25.  Die cut a zig zag border for the triangle accents along the edge.   Layered onto a white card base.  So quick and easy.

Thanks for taking a look!
