12 Tags of Christmas Day 4

The fun and amazing inspiration continues over at Ellen Hutson's - The Classroom.  Day 4 brings us the amazing and talented Kittie Caracciolo!   She makes the most gorgeous scenes.

Tag front

My tag is a dumbed down version, but tried to stick with the theme and feel of Kittie's tag.

Yes, that deer is back again!  I don't have very many dies like these, so I just use what I have on hand.  Stamped and embossed the trees from Gina K with white ep and used a white souffle gel pen for the falling snow.  I did have a wavy crimper which I used on some shimmery white cardstock and cut 2 layers freehand into small rolling hills.  The little branch/bushes are a Martha Stewart punch.  Added some Distress Stickles in Rock Candy on the punched bushes and the edges of the hills.  The Tim Holtz deer was die cut from some darker blue cardstock and sponged around the edges with Distress ink in Faded Jeans.  Topped it off with a white satin ribbon.

Thanks for visiting!

It is definitely not dumbed down. It's beautiful. I love that stamped tree image and of course the deer. One of my favorites.

The deer silhouette is the perfect touch for your wintry forest.

It's a beautiful tag, Sue, not at all "dumbed down." That's nonsense talk!! Hugs, Darnell

Although I like the first tag, I actually like yours more.
