Just Us Girls Challenge #262 - Trend

Sue T. has chosen the Ombre - Technique for our Trend Week Challenge at Just Us Girls!  This is Sue T.'s last week with us, we are really going to miss her :(

Come and check out what our Design Team and our Guest Designer Wanda Cullen have created for this Ombre Challenge!  And since I did last week's post way ahead of the publish date due to being out of town, I would like to welcome our two newest and very talented Design Team members,  Chris and Ina!

I used a paint chip sample for my background.  Stamped the balloons in shades of orange and die cut them.  Stamped the strings first then attaching the balloons.  Stamped the birthday sentiment in black and die cut the happy in black, apricot and white and stacked them slightly off to show the layers.  Added a few orange sequins.  Framed it in black and layered onto Gina K Sweet Mango and onto a white base.

Now let's see your ombre cards!  You could be chosen as our Chic of the Week, which would put you in the running to be our Guest Designer for the month of December.  Please limit your entries to 3.

How inventive to use that paint chip as your background! This card is so cute and would work perfectly for either a boy or girl. Great job!

I have often thought of using paint chips on a card but still haven't hehe. Great idea and like your colour choice.. Birthdays are balloons and yours look super in those variegated colours. Love your big bold sentiment. Thanks for the warm welcome to such a talented team. Love being a part of the Jugheads.
