Just Us Girls #356 - Trend Week

It's time to play  with some of the hottest trends out there for our Trend Week at Just Us Girls!  Ina is our hostess this week and has chosen Watercolor which has been a hot trend for quite a while now.

Come see what our talented Guest Designer, Colleen Foelker and the rest of the JUGS Design Team have done with Watercolor!

This started out to be a no line watercoloring, but it lacked any definition, so after the watercolor dried I stamped one of the layering pieces in Distress Ink Abandoned Coral on the flower and Peeled Paint on the leaves and blended with a wet brush.  Added the gray by picking up the color off of an Inktense watercolor pencil in Charcoal.   Added the splatters with a wet brush and picked up the color from some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink smeared on my craft mat.  All stamps from Altenew.

I would also like to enter this for the August Altenew Inspiration Challenge

Come show us your watercolor creations at Just Us Girls and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible for a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

So gorgeous, Sue. I haven't been successful at no line watercoloring. I need to take the hint and over stamp I guess. I love the gray around the peony too.
