Daisy Sketch

Daisies are so cheerful, so I just had to play along with Addicted to CAS in their Daisy Code Word challenge.  And I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!

First I stamped the daisy from Gina K, then masked it and stamped the gingham strip from Lawn Fawn.  Colored the daisy with Inktense pencils.  Stamped the Hello from Altenew in yellow ink and die cut it with the coordinating die.  Added some Tonic clear shimmer pen over the daisy for a subtle shimmer.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Just Us Girls #498 - Photo Week

It's Photo Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa has chosen a beautiful photo for our inspiration!

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Emma DelFosse for joining us this past month as our Guest Designer.  Check out JUGS to see how this Photo inspired Emma and the rest of the Design Team.

I love that majestic elephant in the photo, but all I have are cutesy elephants.  The elephant and tree images are from a couple of very old AMuse sets.  Stamped the tree and the elephant, masked them and then sponged in the background and then sponged in some white ink for clouds.  Colored the images with Prismacolor pencils and stamped the sentiment in black.  Matted onto some blue cardstock and onto a Gina K Jelly Bean Green card base.

Come on over to JUGS and share your creations that are inspired by our Photo and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

It''s Color Week at Just Us Girls and Nancy has chosen a beautiful color combo for us to play with.

With us again this week is our July Guest Designer Emma DelfosseVisit the JUGS blog to see how Emma and the rest of the Design Team were inspired.

Thanks to the inspiration of many of the other DT members , I am now in possession of many of the Concord & 9th Turnabout stamps!  For this I used the Dahlia Turnabout set.  Stamped the petals in light and dark pink and the sentiment in an olive shade of ink.  Die cut with a Spellbinders circle die and adhered it to a piece of green striped paper from my stash and mounted onto a light pink card base.

It's your turn to show us your creations using this week's Colors.  You could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

You're Beautiful!

This is for a beautiful young lady who is starting her battle with breast cancer.  I used the challenge from CAS of Friday for inspiration.

CAS on Sunday

Challenge #161 - Use these colors ...

I matched up the colors in Distress Oxide Inks and stamped the Concord & 9th Turnabout flower.  The white was from WPlus9 and was a little light, so I stamped it again with Versamark and heat embossed with white ep.  Die cut the beautiful from some glitter paper and darkened it a little with a Touch Twin marker in Yellow Ochre.

Thanks for dropping by!
