 It's time for CAS Week at Just Us Girls with Nancy as our fabulous hostess!  Remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

I went with a very old stamp from my stash, I believe it is a Studio G as well as the sentiment.  Stamped the jack-o-lantern face onto orange cardstock and filled in the eyes, nose and mouth with a yellow Sakura Moonlight gel pen, then added some yellow Stickles over the top.

Just Us Girls #702

 It's time for our Photo/Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and Ina has chosen a very pretty fall photo/color combo for our inspiration.

Started out by taping off the edges of a white card base then heat embossing the leaf from Concord & 9th's Lace Leaf set with gold ep.  Did some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks, then added some water over the leaf and lifted some of the color with a paper towel.  Stamped the sentiment from the same set with Versafine black ink.  A one layer card!

 It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa E. is our lovely hostess and she has chosen the very timely word Pumpkin!

A simple little Halloween card using a very old Studio G image of the pumpkins and cat.  Stamped

the image, then colored with Prismacolor pencils.  Stamped the image again with Versamark and heat embossed with black ep.  Randomly stamped the spider webs, also from Studio G in black on an orange card base.

Just Us Girls #700 - Color Week

 It's a big milestone at Just Us Girls this week celebrating our 700th challenge!  This week is our Color Challenge with our very own, fabulous Lisa Kind!  Some of our Design Team are offering up prizes for this challenge so make sure to visit each blog and leave a comment for a chance to win.

Stamped the Brutus Monroe background with Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled Glass on kraft.  Die cut the leafy branch from white cardstock and used a blending brush to blend Distress inks in Orange Marmalade and Rusty Hinge.  Inked the edges of a white card base with the Rusty Hinge.  Die cut the sentiment from Concord & 9th from kraft and heat embossed with clear ep.

Just Us Girls #699 - CASE a DT

 It's CASE a DT week at Just Us Girls.  The idea behind this is to CASE one of our Design Team members from this week's post.

I made this for a friend who retired from the sheriff's department.  Started with a piece of foiled, patterned paper from my stash, I think it was DCWV.  Die cut the stars in the brown and yellow/gold and layered them.  Used an unknown beer die and added some Stickles to the beer and Nuvo drops for the foam.  Stamped the sentiment directly on the patterned paper and heat embossed in black.

It's CAS Week at Just Us Girls and I'm the hostess this week. I would like to see the gallery filled with Sports themed creations this week, in a CAS style, of course.

I remember way back in high school when the cheerleaders would decorated the player's lockers and that was what I was going for with this.  Yes, the shoes look a little large next to the locker, but this card is for my grandson who wears a size 15!  The locker and shoes are an old set from Gina K.  The basketball is an unknown die and the star is a punch stamped with a little 11, which is his basketball number.

I stamped the apple from Gina K with orange and red Distress Oxide inks going for a blended look.  Masked the apple and stamped the green leaf shadow from Concord & 9th in Pistachio Memento ink the stamped the sentiment from another Concord & 9th set in black.  Die cut the panel with a pierced edge rectangle die.  Inked the edges of a white card base with the same Pistachio ink.
