Come check out JUGS to see how these colors inspired our 2 Guest Designers - Hannalie Bester and Mary Deatherage along with the rest of the talented Design Team.
Stamped the heart from Unity onto some purple striped paper and heat embossed with red ep. Stamped the sentiment from Reverse Confetti in Memento ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Layered onto some very old Stampin Up Vintage Violet and adhered to a light pink card base. Added some Nuvo drops in a light pearly pink.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.
Update: I'm gaining a little bit of use of my left arm, but still have a long way to go.
You are the hostess with the mostest Sue, coming up with the addition of purple into the usual red and pink mix! I like the way you stamped and heat embossed your heart directly onto the striped paper and the curvy sentiment banner is perfect! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with stripes! :) Fun card. Glad to read your arm is recouping
ReplyDeleteLove our colors this week as much as your card! The banner sentiment die is a nice touch! Thinking about you and hoping each day things are getting better! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stamp Sue. Great layout and everything came together beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI think red embossing powder can be a challenge, Sue, and you met it head on. I love that heart and it looks wonderful on the striped paper. Great one-armed card! ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely card Sue! I cannot believe you are creating such beauties with limitations!
