I was inspired by all of those beautiful red and yellow tulips! I used a very old SU 2 step floral set for this. I stamped the first layer in Memento Dandelion and the second layer in Lady Bug inks. The red looked a little orangey, so added some Touch Twin marker in Crimson Red for a little more depth. I chose the Faith sentiment from Gina K due to the circumstances of the COVID-19 to remind me that we all have to keep the faith.
Come show us your creations and tell us how you were inspired by the photo and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer. Please limit your entries to 3.
Your blazing tulips are stunning Sue and I love the sentiment behind your card - yes, we will beat it in the end!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for having me as your guest this month - you've all given me such a lovely warm welcome :)

I struggle with this stamp set so much! I am going to have to try this color combo as I love your results! Stay safe up there!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely brightly coloured card Sue. Gorgeous 'tulips'. I sure got the flower wrong this week. Love the simple sentiment.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Sue, but I really think you chose a perfect sentiment for this time in our lives. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteI love two toned tulips, Sue, and yours are lovely. How great of you to check on your aunt. I'm sure she loves to hear from you.
