Just Us Girls #785 - Stencil Week

 It's Stencil Week at Just Us Girls with Bobby as our hostess!  Pull out those stencils and have some fun!

Using a starburst stencil and Memento Luxe Dandelion ink.  Added the die cut stars in glitter and yellow and the banner stamp and die.  Put it together on a yellow card base.  Pretty basic.

Just Us Girls #784 - Moodboard Week

 It's time for our Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and Carol Mayne is our hostess and has chosen a fabulous board for our inspiration

Obvious inspiration from the little flowers.  I picked up this background stamp from the dollar store and it actually stamped decent.  Applied ink to the flowers with a small round brush and the green areas are alcohol markers.  Die cut the Concord & 9th flower and added some clear glaze and a candy dot after it dried.  Stamped the sentiment and die cut with a banner die.  Put it together on a coral card base.

Just Us Girls #783- Word Week

It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Vicki is our hostess and has chosen a perfect summer word, Water!

Started with a piece of watercolor paper and just kept adding various watercolors and inks for the variation in blues.  Cut a piece off of a cover plate die for the waves.  Die cut the sailboat coloring with alcohol ink markers and leaving the sails white.  Snipped a piece of red cardstock for the little flap on top of the mast.  Die cut a blue banner die and layered onto red, putting it all together on a white card base.

 It's time to play with your dies again here at Just Us Girls for our Die Week challenge.  Carol Mc. is our hostess for this challenge and she would like to see "Summer Things".

Summer to me is more golf!  This sassy golfer is from Art Impressions.  Stamped the image then paper pieced her visor and skort.  Colored with a combination of alcohol markers, Prismacolor pencils and some gel pen.  Die cut the image with a rectangle die as well as the teal and green layers.  Stamped the sentiment in Memento Pine Green and die cut with a banner die.

I think this is our last Grad party for this year.  Stenciled the stars with Memento Luxe yellow ink on a linen card base.  Stamped the sentiment in Memento navy ink.  Die cut a couple of layered stars in yellow and glitter paper then colored the glitter star with a blue alcohol ink marker.  I always try to make grad cards in the school colors and this year I had 2 that were blue and gold and the other was blue and white.

Just Us Girls #780 - Moodboard Week

 It's time for our Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and Vicki has chosen a beautiful scene for our inspiration.

I was drawn to the poppies and the blue of the sky and water.  Inked a striped embossing folder with blue ink and ran it through my Big Shot.  I've had these poppies for a long time and now am finally using them from Concord & 9th.  Stamped the poppies in Memento Morrocco and DI Aged Mahagony, die cut with the matching dies and added black glaze pen in dots to the centers.  Die cut some stems from another set in green.  Die cut the unknown tag and stamped the sentiment with more Morrocco.  Die cut a little bow from another unknown set and colored with alcohol ink pen.  Put it all together on a white linen card base.

More graduation!  This is a card box that I made for my niece's party.  The base is just a cardboard box and the top is a 12 x 12 stretched canvas all spray painted royal blue.  Die cut letters and numbers were added to the band.  The tassel was made from embroidery floss.
