Just Us Girls #354 - Wild Card

It's the 5th Saturday of the month so at Just Us Girls we have Wild Card Week!  Nancy is our hostess and she is challenging us to make something girly!

I'm sorry to say this will be Carol Mayne, our Guest Designer's last week with us, so come on over to the JUGS blog to see all of the girly creations by Carol and the rest of the JUGS Design Team.

I dug through my patterned paper pile and found the pink houndstooth that I had printed from Gina  K many years ago.  Die cut the Reverse Confetti tag, small black circle and the grid piece and added the die cut flower from Concord & 9th and used a sparkly enamel dot for it's center.  Found this fabric purple and white polka dot washi tape and used it as a tab on top of the tag and added a little twine bow.  The sentiment is from Altenew.  Finished it off by die cutting the stitched scalloped border along the bottom.

Now it's your turn to show us your Girly Creations!  You could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week which would then make you eligible to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

I usually associate houndstooth with masculine cards, but all done up in pink is fabulous...definitely a girly card. Loving the beautiful tag too!

I"m crushing all over your lovely pink houndstooth; a lovely backdrop for your pretty tag! Looks like we channeled one another in bringing our Concord & 9th florals out for a play; smitten with yours in purple! Thank you soooooo much for the opportunity to join the fabulous team this month; a highlight of my crafting career in every way! You’ll for sure see me playing along in the gallery!

Love all your elements here. Great colors and patterns, and that flower is perfect. Great take on the challenge, very "girly".
