Birthday, Wedding and Thinking of You

I made a birthday card for the Play Date Cafe Challenge  http://theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com/2012/05/play-date-cafe-pdcc133.html

I received the image through Wish RAK at Splitcoaststampers.  Colored with Touch Twin Markers.  Stamped the In Stitches by Gina K in Night of Navy. Stamped the sentiment on a file tab die by Sizzix.  Layered the image over a Spellbinders die and added faux stitches with a navy gel pen.  Layered a couple of photo corners and added a dot of Liquid Pearls in Ruby Red.

I needed a wedding card for next weekend and this fits 2 challenges:

Stamped the flowers from an old SU set in Memento London Fog and layered with slate gray cs.  Die cut the heart, then embossed with a CB folder, sponged some red ink and sprayed with Triple Thick Gloss Spray by Krylon.  Die cut the ovals for the sentiment and added a couple of Prima Flowers and self-adhesive pearls.

I took a tag and sponged Distress inks, blending them into each other, then flicked some water on it.  Stamped the image by Gina K Spring Mix set and the little dragonflies by Technique Tuesday and topped it with a bow made with the Bow Easy.  Added the sentiment, also by Gina K Borderabilties by Spellbinders for some definition.

Thanks for taking a look!

Black, White and a Splash of Yellow

This is the color challenge at The Play Date Cafe  http://theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com/2012/05/play-date-cafe-pdcc132.html

Stamps by SU:  Happy Everything.  Pierced the holes for the stitching with a Sew Easy and stitched with black and white baker's twine.  Found the acetate flower in my stash and colored it yellow with a Touch Twin Marker and attached with a black brad.  Added the little self adhesive photo corner, also from my long forgotten stash.

This is also for the sketch challenge at The House That Stamps Built  http://www.thehousethatstampsbuilt.com/sketch-challenges/what-if-wednesday-sketch-challenge-m1612/

Repeat Impressions Sketch M1612

The stamps are by Repeat Impressions - Big Boys Toys.  The balloons were colored with Touch Twin Markers.  Stamped and cut out the sentiment banner, added the baker's twine tail and attached with dimentionals.

Thanks for visiting!

Many Challenges

CPS Sketch #264  http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/2012/05/cps-264-part-1.html

Stamps by Sweet Stamp Shop.  Stamped the mirror twice, once on Gina K Mother of Pearl cs and paper pieced onto the one stamped on the white cs.  This gives the mirror a shimmery effect.  The little pearl was added to cover up an oops.

Stamps by Suzi's Zoo and SU.  Image colored with Prismcolor Pencils.

Stamps by Gina K - Inspiration Mosaic and In Stitches

Moxie Fab Splatter Technique Challenge  http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2012/05/card-creations-week-spatter-technique.html

Stamps by Gina K - Botanicals.
Stamped the flower with Goose Bumps then sprayed with Smooch after completely dry for the splatter effect.  Embossed a piece of Core'dinations cs and lightly sanded.

Thanks for stopping by!

Karen,  I hope you are having a speedy recovery and growing stronger every day!  There will be bumps in the road, but you will overcome the obstacles.  We all miss you and are praying for you.

I used Gina K's Many Wishes and Botanicals.  Added Spellbinders Lacy Border, some Baker's twine, Gina K ribbon and a Sizzix flourish.  The script and flowers were stamped on Core'dinations cs, tore the edge then inked around the edges.

Karen I hope you have a speedy recovery.
