Just Us Girls #694 - CAS Week

 It's my turn to be hostess at Just Us Girls for CAS Week and I went with a theme - Baby.

I've had this cute little ducky in my collection for many years, it's by Suzy's Zoo, and I am still in love with it.  Started by stamping the little duck on a white card base and colored with Prismacolor Pencils.  Masked it and stamped the gingham with Distress Oxide Salt Water Taffy ink.  Added the sentiment from a very old SU set - So Very, stamped in a darker pink and stamped the tiny hearts in the Salt Water Taffy ink, then used my Word Window punch.  Almost a one layer card.

Just Us Girls # 693 - Photo/Mood Board Week

 It's time for our Photo/Mood Board Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby has chosen an awesome collection for our inspiration.

It's easy to see what inspired this card.  The blue striped background was done with an inked embossing folder and the smaller square was stenciled in gray.  Pulled out an old Gina K set and stamped the starfish in a caramel colored ink and fussy cut.  The sentiment is from Mudrah and stamped in Memento Nautical Blue.  Put it all together onto a white card base.

Just Us Girls #692 - Word Week

 Our Lovely Lisa is our hostess this week at Just Us Girls for our Word Week Challenge and she has chosen the Word Bee to inspire us.

I went with a mini slimline using an unbranded honeycomb die that I inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen.   Stamped, die cut and colored the little bee from Concord & 9th Be Mine stamp set and added Stickles to the wings.  Stamped the sentiment and die cut with a fishtail die and put it all together on a SU Barely Banana card base.

Just Us Girls #691- Color Week

 Over at Just Us Girls it's time for our Color Week Challenge and Vicki has chosen a very fresh and versatile color combo to inspire us.

I saw this technique over at Splitcoaststampers and had to give it a try.  Added the hollyhocks which were colored with markers in this week's challenge colors and added some green leaves which were colored by swiping Distress inks in greens direct to the leaves.  Added the sentiment from Gina K in Memento Nautical Blue.
