Over at Just Us Girls it's time for our Color Week Challenge and Vicki has chosen a very fresh and versatile color combo to inspire us.
Come on over to JUGS to welcome our new Guest Designer, Greta Hess who will be joining us for the month of August. Now check it out to see how these colors inspired Greta and the rest of our fabulous Design Team.
I saw this technique over at Splitcoaststampers and had to give it a try. Added the hollyhocks which were colored with markers in this week's challenge colors and added some green leaves which were colored by swiping Distress inks in greens direct to the leaves. Added the sentiment from Gina K in Memento Nautical Blue.
Come share your creation with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Love the layout, and that pretty bouquet of flowers
I have been wanting to try that card style and you have added those pretty hollyhocks in front of it, while perfectly using our colors in such as sweet way. This is such a great card. Wish I had those hollyhocks in my stash!!!!!
The hollyhocks are so pretty! Fabulous card, Sue!
Beautiful hollyhocks and how cool is that technique you used to display them. My real life hollyhocks are nowhere near blooming yet; fingers crossed they will, at some point.

Fabulous card Sue. Those hollyhocks look amazing with our lovely colours this week.
Sue... love the lattice! Great technique... adds so much visual interest! I don't spend enough time at Splitcoast...thanks for the reminder to get over there.
I have been seeing these lattice cards around, Sue, and am glad to see you made one. I love it and it works well with the lovely stalks of hollyhocks.
The floral spray is perfect for the lattice card & love the sentiment font & placement!
