Just Us Girls #617 - Wild Card Week

 We have an extra Saturday this month and that means it's time for Wild Card Week at Just Us Girls and Carol has chosen a fun challenge for us this week.

Sadly, this is our last week with our 2 fabulous Guest Designers.  Thank you, Chrissie Stokes and Stef Perry, for joining us this past month with all of your amazing creations!  Hop on over to JUGS to see what Chrissie and Stef, along with the rest of the Design Team have created with plaid.

Using a Tim Holtz Plaid stencil and red ink for the background.  Die cut the hearts from red and white using the red frames and inlayed the white pieces.  Layered onto a piece of red cardstock and onto a white base.  Stamped the sentiment and punched out with a word window punch.

Anniversary Love

 I needed to make a card for my hubby for our upcoming anniversary and was inspired by Time Out Challenges and Color Hues.

Die cut the leaf and berry die from white cardstock and pressed into a frost ink pad for some shimmer and colored the berries with a Sakura Stardust silver gel pen.  Die cut the circle from Spellbinders and little hearts from some silver colored packaging (recycling).  Stamped the sentiment first in a light gray ink then again with Brilliance Platinum ink for more shimmer, easily done by using my MISTI.

 It's time for Photo Week at Just Us Girls and one of our newest Design Team Members is hostess of this week's challenge and she has chosen a fabulous photo for our inspiration!

I was obviously inspired by the heart and the colors. Die cut the striped heart out of the red cardstock and layered some blue glitter paper behind the cut out.  Added the die cut LOVE.

Just Us Girls #615 - Color Weekl

 It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa has a gorgeous combo for us to play with!

Ever since our mini slimline challenge, I've been hooked!  This is a very simple card using a Simply Graphic die cut out of the white panel.  Colored the stars with a silver metallic gel pen and stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts in a light blue ink and layered onto a light blue card base.

Just Us Girls #614 - Trend Week

 It's time for Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Vicki has chosen a fun trend that everyone can do!

Sprayed some Eucalyptus ink spray onto some ivory cardstock.  Used a couple of die cuts from Simply Graphic and sponged some color onto them.  Sentiment is from Pink Fresh stamped in black on ivory.

Sporty Birthday

 My grandson's birthday card using images all the sports he loves.  I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

This is also a fit for the challenge at The Male Room

Images are from Gina K Sporty Accessories and sentiment from Hero Arts.  Die cut the blue panel and added washi tapes and layered onto a white mini slimline base. Placed the die cut panel on a piece of white cardstock and lightly traced the openings, then stamped the images and colored with alcohol markers.  Lined up the die cut panel over the images and adhered.

Just Us Girls #613 - Word Week

 Happy New Year!  Just Us Girls are back and Nancy is our hostess for Word Week and has chosen the perfect word for this New Year's Day.

We are starting the new year off with 2 new talented members to our Design Team!  Please welcome Carol McFarland and Lisa Elton!  Their amazing creations will definitely blow you away.

And we have 2 fabulous Guest Designers joining us this month.  A huge welcome to Chrissie Stokes and Steph Perry!

Adult beverages used here!  Die cut the unknown drink glasses and colored with Touch Twin markers and added some Wink of Stella clear sparkle.  Stamped the sentiment from Virginia Turtle and mounted onto a wine colored card base.  I had to add the shadows around the glasses because when I tried to photograph them, the stems were invisible!
