Just Us Girls #672 - CAS Week

It's my turn to choose the theme for our CAS Challenge at Just Us Girls and it's pretty much anything goes, but using 1/3 or less on your design.

Check out JUGS to see what our fabulous Guest Designer, Michelle Ferguson and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created using 1/3 or less.

Inked a lattice border embossing folder with Distress Oxide ink in Saltwater Taffy and ran through my big shot to ink and emboss the border.  Die cut the flowers and inked the center of each one with light and dark pink.  Added the sentiment from Pinkfresh.

Adding another St. Patrick's Day card that I sent out this year.  Stenciled the shamrocks in Distress Oxide Clover.  Added some gold foil to a strip of double sided tape.  Stamped my new favorite sentiment from Photo Play on some light green, die cut the oval and matted with a scalloped oval in a medium green.  Finished it off by added metallic gold gel pen dots to the scallops.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #671 - Photo/Moodboard Week

Just Us Girls has a Photo/Moodboard Challenge this week with an amazing Moodboard to inspire us by Elizabeth!

Check out our JUGS Blog to see what our awesome Guest Designer, Michelle Ferguson and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created with this Moodboard as inspiration.

Started off by stamping the daisies from Gina K's Spring Basket then masking them and stamped the Barnwood Background from Concord & 9th in Distress Weathered Wood.  Colored the daisies with Touch Twin markers and fussy cut the right edge of the panel.  Matted on Gina K London Fog cardsotck and onto a white card base.  The sentiment is from PinkFresh.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #670 - Word Week

It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Elizabeth has chosen Rainbow for this challenge!  The gallery should be beautiful this week filled with rainbows!

Come check out JUGS to see all of the beautiful rainbows created by our Guest Designer, Michelle Ferguson and the rest of the Design Team.

Another St. Patrick's Day card with my new set.  The rainbow was made with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  Stamped the image, colored with Touch Twin markers and fussy cut.  Stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set.  No quite thrilled with my rainbow, but it is still a rainbow.

Come share your creation with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Shamrock Shaker

Loved the sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week, so had to play along.

Stenciled the shamrocks on the background with Distress Oxide Clover Green ink.  Die cut the oval from the white panel, adhered acetated to the back side.  Added foam tape around the oval and filled with green beads from Dollar Tree.  Added the big white shamrock outline (unknown) and the sentiment stamped in a dark green and die cut.

Thanks for dropping by for a closer look.

Just Us Girls # 669

It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Ina has chosen a fabulous color combo for us to play with!

Turquoise, Mustard and Black.

First I would like to welcome Michelle Ferguson, our Guest Designer for the month of March!  Come check out JUGS to see what   and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created with these colors.

This started with a black panel then swiped Distress Oxide ink in Broken China across it.  Stenciled the starts with Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber, but it didn't make the stars stand out enough so added some Buttercup embossing powder.  Die cut the other 2 stars and heat embossed them with the Buttercup embossing powder.  Stamped the sentiment on a lighter strip of turquoise in black and put it all together on a turquoise card base.

Come share you creation with us using these colors and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit you entries to 3.
