Just Us Girls #586 - Wild Card

We have 5 Saturdays this month, so that means it's time for Wild Card Week at Just Us Girls and Angie has a fun one for us this week - Spots and/or Dots!

Thank you Jacinda for joining us this past month with all of your awesome creations!  Come on over to JUGS to see what our Guest Designer, Jacinda and the rest of the fabulous Design Team have created using Spots and/or Dots.

I used a fun stamp set from Unity to make this card for my friend who had COVID.  Stamped the little poop and colored with Touch Twin markers and colored the little heart with a Sakura Moonlight gel pen.  Added some black gel pen to the eyes and mouth.  Matted with some brown and layered onto a piece of brown and white polka dot patterned paper and then onto a brown card base.  Die cut the sentiment and layered onto a brown die cut circle and adhered at a slight angle.

Come play along with us and you could become our next Chic of the Week, which would then  make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #585 - Photo Week

Just Us Girls challenge this week is Photo Week and Cecile has chosen a very pretty photo for our inspiration!

Come on over to JUGS to see how this photo inspired our Guest Designer, Jacinda and the rest of the JUGS Design Team.

I was obviously inspired by the 2 pretty daisies along with the burlap and twine.  Daisies are from Gina K colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and die cut with coordinating dies.  Stamped the background in black onto white cardstock with Dotted Fill-in stamp set from Concord & 9th..  The kraft strip is stamped with an old Stampin Up Burlap background stamp in Memento Rich Cocoa.  Added some bits of twine and layered onto a kraft card base.

Come play along with us and you could become our next Chic of the Week, which would then put you in the running at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #584 - Color Week

It's time to have some fun with colors at Just Us Girls for Color Week!  Look at these awesome colors Maria has chosen for us to create with.

Come on over to JUGS to see how our Guest Designer, Jacinda and the rest of the talented Design Team have used these colors.

A fairly simple creation using Core'dinations glitter paper to die cut the balloons.  Used glue dots to attach the die cut strings, then tied them together with some yellow baker's twine.  Die cut the sentiment 3 times and glued together.  Put it all together onto some blue and white polka dot paper and adhered to a yellow card base.

Come share your creation with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Masculine Monochromatic

Playing along with Cardz 4 Guyz - Monochromatic

And following the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

Using stamps from Gina K, Mudra and Stampin Up.  Inks used Memento Desert Sand, Rich Cocoa and Espresso Truffle.  Kraft card base and an almost one layer card.  I first stamped the sentiment directly onto the base, but didn't like it, so stamped onto some ivory cardstock, cut it out and adhered on top of the original sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Just Us Girls #583 - Trend Week

It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Ina has challenged us to create something with Layers!

Come on over to JUGS to see what our Guest Designer Jacinda and the rest of the Design Team have created using Layers.

Using various patterned papers from a very old paper pack from my stash die cut the different sized banners and the ribbon slider was die cut from white, stamped the sentiment in black and heat embossed with clear then colored the rest of the die cut with a Touch Twin marker to match the red card base.

I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge which was perfect for our JUGS challenge.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make yo eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

I used his school colors of red and black.  Circle from Ellen Hutson Bokeh Dots, stars and sentiment from various Gina K sets and the flourishy fireworks with stars from Technique Tuesday.  Inks:  Brilliance red and Gina K Amalgam ink.  Layered the main panel onto some dark red Core'dinations glitter paper and onto a white base.

Just Us Girls #582 - Word Week

It's my turn to host our challenge at Just Us Girls for Word Week and I have chosen the word Float.  Float can be a verb or a noun.  Think of balloons, pool toys, boats, ducks, root beer float, etc.

Since this is the start of a new month, that means we have a new Guest Designer!  Welcome to Jacinda!  Come on over to JUGS to see all of the Float creations by Jacinda and the rest of the Design Team!

This sassy lady is headed to the beach with her ducky float, she looks like she could use a little sun.  Image is a Golden Oldies colored with Touch Twin markers.  Masked the image and added some Versamark across the bottom and heat embossed with some sand ep and sponged some light blue ink.
Layered onto a piece of blue and white polka dot paper printed from Melstampz and onto a yellow card base.

Share your Float creations with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit you entries to 3.
