Just Us Girls #555 - Photo Week

                           

 Cecile is our hostess this week at Just Us Girls for Photo Week and she has chosen a fabulous photo for our inspiration!

I used a couple of Gina K sets for the stars and I think it's a Casual Friday's sentiment stamp.  Inked with Memento Nautical Blue and Memento Lady Bug inks.  Matted on navy and adhered to a red card base.

Just Us Girls #554 - Color Weel

 It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Carol has chosen a very pretty and versatile combination for us to play with!

Using Gina K's Lighthearted Wishes.  Stamped the sentiment and image with Memento Danube Blue ink, paper pieced the shade and added pink gel pen to the tassels and little heart.  Inked a polka dot embossing folder with Brilliance Blue ink and embossed the background.

Just Us Girls #553 - Trend Week

 Nancy has chosen a really fun Trend Week Challenge at Just Us Girls this week!

Come check out what our Guest Designer, Lindsey and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created by cutting it into thirds over at JUGS.

I have to admit that when I made this I had masked and inked the background with Distress Oxide inks and stamped the vase and flowers to create a one layer card, and then realized that I was supposed to cut it into thirds!  Instead of starting over, I just cut along the edges of the colors and left the image intact.  Between the little stems crossing the top layers I cheated and used a white gel pen.  Used some light blue Stickles to add sparkle to the vase.  Added some dots of colors to the flower petals in various colors of markers and gel pens and they still weren't grabbing me, so I added some white gel pen along the edges of the petals and purple souffle pen to the little buds.  Still not a fan of this, but it is what it is!

Just Us Girls #552 - Word Week

 It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and it's Sue here with your challenge this week.   The weather is starting to get cooler as we progress into fall, so my choice for your word is Leaves.

I would like to welcome our September Guest Designer - Lindsey!  Come check out JUGS to see all of the leaves by Lindsey and the rest of the amazing Design Team!

Using Gina K stamps.  First stamped the leaves on watercolor paper and colored with waterbrush and watercolor pencils.  Cut them out by hand.  Stamped the wood slice with Memento Espresso Truffle ink and colored with a Touch Twin marker in Blondewood.  Stamped the sentiment in Gina K Amalgam ink.

Arranged the leaves on the wood slice and adhered.
