Just Us Girls #538 - Wild Card Week

It's my week to be hostess at Just Us Girls for Wild Card Week and I have chosen to challenge you to use 2 or more patterned papers on your projects.  I have lots of patterned papers that I hardly ever use and this is a chance to bring them out and let them play.

Sadly, this is our final week with our fabulous May Guest Designer, Deborah Frings.  Come on over to JUGS to see how Deborah and the rest of the amazing Design Team have used some patterned papers on their creations.

I used Gina K's Inspiration Mosaic, Happy Hearts and Lots of Lines.   I stamped the Inspiration Mosaic on four different patterns from a very old pack from The Garment District Lilly Pads Sunday Brunch Arctic Frog.  Left the polka dot piece intact and cut up the other patterns and paper pieced onto the polka dots.  Stamped the sentiment in Gina K Amalgam black ink.  Stamped the heart with Memento Moroccan and fussy cut and layered onto a scalloped heart die cut in Gina K Tomato Soup.  Card base is also Tomato Soup.

Come play along with us at JUGS and you could become our next Chic of the Week, which would then put you in the running at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #536- Photo Week

It's Photo Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby has chosen this fabulous photo for our inspiration!

Come on over to JUGS to see how this photo inspired our Guest Designer, Deborah Frings and the rest of the JUGS Team.

I was inspired by the vase on the table and the pattern and colors on the chairs.  Sponged Distress Oxide inks on the background.  Used a cover plate die with navy cardstock over the background.  Used a couple of Gina K images and fussy cut them for the vase and cattails.  Tim Holtz word die from a piece of the leftover background.

Share your creations with us and you could become our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #536 - Color Week

It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa has chosen a happy and fun color combo for us to play with.

Come over to JUGS to see what our Guest Designer, Deborah Frings and the rest of the Design Team have created with this color combo.

Using up some scraps by die cutting some scalloped borders and layering them.  Die cut some balloons and stamped the strings and stamped the sentiment in black.  Added some washi tape to the top edge.

Come join us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Carol has a fun Trend for us to try - Mini!

Come on over to JUGS to see what our fabulous Guest Designer, Deborah Frings and the rest of the awesome Design Team have created with Mini in mind.

I used some little square stamps with some soft sand ink and then stamped the little dragonfly over them.  Colored the dragonfly with Touch Twin markers and Wink of Stella shimmer pens.  Stamped the polka dot background with Distress Oxide Antique Linen on some Cocoa cardstock.

Come play along with us and you could become our next Chic of the Week, which would then put you in the running at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #534 - Word Week

It's a new month and time for Word Week at Just Us Girls and Nancy has chosen the most perfect word for us.

Welcome to our very talented May Guest Designer - Deborah Frings!  Check out the JUGS blog to see what Deborah and the rest of the design team have created with Heroes in mind.

Thank you to MFT for offering these amazing free digi images!  The doctor and nurse were colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol then fussy cut.  Die cut the big heart and layered everything onto some rainbow striped paper from my stash.  This was made for our local hospital staff in mind and will deliver it with some fresh baked treats to show how much they are appreciated during this stressful time.

Come share your Hero cards with us at JUGS and you could become our next Guest Designer!

Thanks for dropping by!

Sending Hugs

I fell in love with the sketch for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

This is also a fit for the Silhouette challenge at Addicted to CAS

Used a splat stencil and sponged Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade onto some purple cardstock.  Stamped the images from Hero Arts with black ink then stamped again with Versamark and heat embossed with black ep for more depth.  Stamped the sentiment with Gina K Amalgam ink in Obsidian.  Layered onto a Stampin Up Barely Banana card base.

Thanks for stopping by!
