Working on finishing up my Christmas cards and found some challenges to inspire me.
Ellen Hutson's the CLASSroom - Use your favorite Essentials by Ellen stamps.
And Double D Challenges - Here comes Santa Claus
Started with the largest dot from Bokeh Dots and stamped the moon in yellow. Stamped Santa and his reindeer from Santa's Flight with black. Sponged on Distress inks in blues, purples and black. Splattered some white Wink of Stella for snow. Heat embossed the sentiment with white ep. Used some Core'dinations Black Magic cardstock and used a snowflake embossing folder, then sanded the snowflakes.
This set is from Clearly Besotted. Stamped the reindeer and colored with Touch Twin markers and stamped the trees with Distress Oxide ink, they weren't showing up very well, so went over them with a gel pen. Smeared WPlus9 white ink across the bottom and added some Nuvo past in Moonstone. Mounted on green cardstock and added the sentiment strip. Layered onto some white glitter paper.
And lastly, The Male Room - Challenge #74 - Use Vellum
Stenciled some white dots on vellum with WPlus9 white ink, flipped it over and stamped the JOY from Concord & 9th with Brilliance red, die cut the Joy (also from Concord & 9th) from silver glitter paper and layered over the stamped letters. Stamped some big snowflakes from Stampendous in Brilliance Blue ink. Adhered the vellum strip over the snowflake layer and stamped the rest of the sentiment just below the vellum. Layered onto a red card base.
Thanks for taking a look!
