Just Us Girls #336 - Photo Week

Nancy has us thinking about the shore/beach this week with this fabulous photo for our Photo Week Challenge at Just Us Girls!

For more inspiration, visit Just Us Girls to see what inspired our Guest Designer - Stephanie Castro and the rest of the Design Team.

I was inspired by the colors and the theme of the photo.  First stamped the the seagull on the posts, then colored in the shore and covered with Versamark and sand embossing powder.  Stamped more gulls in the sky and sponged some Distress Ink across the lower portion for the sea.  Stamped, colored and cut out the starfish and shells and added to the sand.   Colored the images with Distress Markers.

How does this photo inspire you?  Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible for a chance to be our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Love this! This is what I had in mind to do and thought for sure that I had a post with a bird sitting on it, but I don't. lol Had to double back and get another idea. This is such a peaceful scene.....wish I was there!

This is absolutely perfect for the challenge. I didn't know there was sand embossing powder. Does it become grainy like real sand? GENIUS!!! Great card, my dear!!
