Die cut the flower 3 times and glued together then watercolored with Distress Inks. Watercolored the background panel with blue and green. Stamped the sentiment and used a word window punch and adhered to the watercolored panel overlapping the edge. My flowers are a little splotchy from some of the glue getting onto the top, but it gives it a little character and that's what I'm going with!

What a pretty design, Sue! When glue gets on the front we can call it extra texture and it doesn't detract from these beautiful flowers at all! Love the background color! A perfect contrast to the bright, beautiful flowers! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour!
I just love the bright oranges on your die cut and colored blooms Sue - they look beautiful against your blue background! thank you for joining us in the CAS Mix Up!
Beautifully watercolored die cut flowers, Sue. Love your watercolored background with your flower too. TFS and joining us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour. Hugs..
Beautiful card Sue, fabulous background for your brightly coloured flowers
Character is good....Great colour combination on your fabulous card. The die cuts look wonderful against that artsy and beautiful background. Thank you for joining in the challenge at The CAS Mix Up challenge with this beauty x.
Your splashed background is gorgeous in the shades of blue. Orange is the complementary colour to blue on the colour wheel ... and you can see why with your gorgeous card. Those flowers really look amazing on the blue background. The bright orange is so pretty and I love the "touches" of white ... adds character to the flowers. A wonderful artsy CAS Mix Media card! Lovely colours for the splashed background - a nice contrast to the orange of the flowers. A great sense of movement from the swirly flower and the splashed sections of colour. Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Watercolour!
Such bright orange beauties against the splash blue background, really makes them pop. It is one windy day for that bouquet, we can feel it ;-) Beautiful card.
