Autumn Leaves

Having fun playing with leaves.  When I was much younger I used to like to play in the fallen leaves, but now I can only play with the stamped type.
I have been stalking the Twofer Card Challenge since it started and now I am jumping in for this month's challenge - Leaves.

I used Gina K's A Year of Leaves and colored them with Prismacolor markers on kraft.  The thinking of your card is monochromatic with browns.  I used an embossing folder on the gold layer and sponged some Memento Rich Cocoa ink on it.  Sponged some darker brown ink around the two leaves and sentiment panel.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts. The many thanks card has the leaves randomly stamped around the outer edges on kraft and added the sentiment from Gina K stamped in Memento Espresso Truffle, matted with Dark Chocolate and layered onto a Tomato Soup card base.  All cardstock is from Gina K.

Here they are individually.

Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!

I am happy that you were stalking Twofer, Sue, but even happier that you came on in and entered these two sensational autumn designs in the gallery! I love the texture and interest you added to your thinking of you card with the beautiful framing! And the leaves bordering your handsome thank you card look just like they would in real life! Both would work for either gender, too!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #9! We hope to see you again! Hugs, Darnell

Beautiful leaf cards, Sue! The embossed panel gives great dimension to your duo of leaves! And I love how you framed your sentiment on the second card! Fabulous coloring on the leaves!
Great to see you in the Twofer gallery!
