Just Us Girls #514 - Color Week

It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and our multi-talented Angie is our hostess this week choosing a beautiful combination for our inspiration!

Check out JUGS to see what our Guest Designer Kristin from Lilypad Designs and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created using this color combo.

This was so hard to get a decent photo of!  Started by stamping the ornament with teal ink on some lighter teal cardstock, then stamped the design with Deco Foil Transfer Gel and foiled with teal foil.  Had a couple little smudges, so stamped the little snowflakes around the ornament and added white gel pen dots.  Die Cut different sizes of squares in the dark and light teals and inlaid them together.  I didn't like the lighter layer, so added some Wink of Stella clear shimmer pen.  Used a Tim Holtz snowflake embossing folder and embossed a piece of Core'dination teal cardstock and sanded the raised areas.  Die cut and foiled the "joy" with teal foil and layered it all onto a darker teal card base.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

I can only imagine how sparkly this card is in real life! Love the mix of glitter and foil! Well done Sue!

I've always liked the look of the Core-dinations paper embossed and sanded, Sue, and it looks fabulous on your card. The shimmer from the WOS is glorious. You've created such a beautiful card.

I haven't used Core-dinations paper in ages and seems to be one of those papers gone out of vogue which is a shame as they make for a great background here. Beautiful card Sue with so much bling. I can imagine how hard it was to photograph and would look amazing IRL.
