Just Us Girls #603 - Photo Week

The fourth Saturday of the month means it's time for Photo Week at Just Us Girls and Ina has chosen a beautiful photo for our inspiration.

I would like to thank Loll Thompson for joining us this past month as our Guest Designer and sharing all of her fabulous creations with us!  Now come on over to JUGS to see how this photo inspired Loll and the rest of the amazing Design Team.

Lots of masking on this.  Stamped the floral image from Gina K first, then the basket.  Masked the basket and flowers and added a strip of painter's tape and stamped the woodgrain.  Masked the woodgrain and used a stencil on the upper portion and inked with Distress Inks in Antique Linen and Old Paper, then stamped over the stencil with a crackled background stamp in Hero Arts Wet Cement, which is really hard to see in the photo.  Colored the flowers and basket with Touch Twin markers and green Moonlight gel pen on the leaves.  Sponged on some Antique Linen over the woodgrain.  Added the hello from Concord and 9th which was heat embossed with platinum ep on black and then die cut.

Come share your creations with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

You did a beautiful job of masking those tiny leaves and flowers, Sue. It was worth it because your scene with the table and wallpaper gives that wonderful bucket of flowers a lovely home.

As soon as I saw your card I recognized that lovely old Gina K stamp set Sue. It's a favourite of mine. Lovely bold purple blooms and great background. How clever to add the basket. All marries together perfectly.
