Just Us Girls #707 - CAS Week

It's CAS Week at Just Us Girls and it's a fun one brought to us by our lovely hostess Bobby!  The challenge is In a Circle, how fun is that!  

This will be our last challenge for this year.  We will be taking a break for the month of December to be able to prepare for the upcoming holidays and to spend precious time with our loved ones.

I dug way back in my vast collection and found this very old Stampin Up set.  I made masks of each part of it inking the snowflake and the dotted scalloped border with Brilliance Blue ink and the word circle with Hero Arts Red Royal ink on a white card base.  Super simple!

Just Us Girls #706 - Photo/Moodboard Week

 It's time for our Photo/Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and Carol Mc. has chosen a beautiful Moodboard full of inspiration.

Check out JUGS to see how our amazing Guest Designer, Melissa Craig and the rest of our very talented Design Team were inspired by the Moodboard.

It's pretty obvious what inspired this simple card, that fun cake.  Stamped the trees in Pine Green, Teal and Lime Green and stamped the sentiment from a Concord & 9th set in Royal Red.  Mounted onto a red card base.  Pretty simple!

And 1 more!  Using Concord & 9th Joy set and dies, an unknown ornament die, small bow die and Martha Stewart punch for the greenery.  Background is Tim Holtz snowflake embossing folder inked with Golden Glitz ink and embossed.

Just Us Girls #705 - Word Week

 It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Carol M. is our lovely hostess this week and has chosen a very timely word for our inspiration.

This cute little turkey looks a little scared.  I found this set a thrift store last year and I don't know who made it.  Stamped with Memento Espresso Truffle and then with Versamark and heat embossed the turkey's body first.  Masked off the body and stamped the dotted feathers with Versamark and heat embossed with buttercup yellow ep.  Colored in the tail feathers with watercolor markers from Altenew.  I had a little oopsy on the bottom, so in come the acorns.

Just Us Girls #704 - Color Week

 It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and Carol M. has chosen the perfect color combo for some of us to get started on our Christmas cards!

The start of a new month means a new Guest Designer, please welcome the very talented Melissa Craig!  Now come on over to JUGS to see what Melissa and the rest of our amazing Design Team have created with these colors.

Started with a green foiled Gina K background.  It's so hard to get a good photo of foil.  Die cut the unbranded tree from some white glittered cardstock that I colored with an alcohol marker and used a punch from the white glittered cardstock for the star leaving it white.  Die cut the sentiment from more white glittered paper and colored the pieces with red and green markers.  Put it all together on a red card base.
