It's Anything Goes Stencil Week at Just Us Girls.
Another card for one of my grandsons, this one uses his school colors at Calvin University. The background was stenciled with Distress Oxide ink on some burgundy cardstock, but it wasn't bright enough, so stenciled again with the same ink and while still wet sprinkled on some buttercup embossing powder and heat embossed it. Die cut the HOPE from Concord & 9th from some pearl cardstock in a yellow/gold shade. Stamped the little part of the sentiment onto the same pearl cardstock as the label with Versafine Onyx ink and die cut with a fishtail die. Stamped the "good" (from a Gina K set) onto a piece of acetate and fussy cut to finish it off.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Sue... your stenciled background is amazing...
Great idea to stencil then heat emboss. Why am I not doing that? It's my favorite technique of your card! I'm sure your grandson will really like this!
Awesome personalized card. This turned out great!
What a wonderful card, and I am sure your grandson will love it!
Fabulous card for your grandson; it's masculine marvelous! I was going to use that C & 9th hope die for our earlier challenge, but couldn't find it...going for a look again after seeing you using it.

Those dots were meant to be embossed, Sue. It gives them wonderful shine and texture. Great job with the different elements to make up the sentiment.
Fabulous stencil work Sue.
