Just Us Girls #755 - Anything Goes Stencil

Let your imagination run wild, it's time for Anything Goes Stencil Week at Just Us Girls!  Pull out those stencils and have some fun.  This will be our last challenge for this year as we take a holiday break, but we will be back in January 2025!

Hop on over to JUGS to see what our Guest Designer, Jenn Borjeson and the rest of our Design Team have created with stencils.
Thank you Jenn for joining us this past month with all of your amazing designs!

I converted my die cut gnome to a snowman by cutting off his hat and adding the Tim Holtz Santa hat and then just had to add some cool shades also from Tim Holtz.  Stenciled the background from Tim Holtz with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink and stamped the HO3 from Ellen Hutson in Hero Arts Red Royal ink.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #754 - Mood Board Week

It's time for our Mood Board Week at Just Us Girls and our lovely Carol Mc has chosen a fabulous board filled with lots of inspiration!

Now, hop on over to JUGS to see how our talented Guest Designer, Jenn Borjeson and the rest of our amazing Design Team were inspired by this board.
I was drawn to the little snowman with his blue hat and tan scarf.  Stamped the snowman, then masked him off, blended some Brilliance blue ink onto the background and stenciled some "snowflakes" with white ink which didn't show up quite as nice as I had hoped.  Images colored with alcohol markers.

Come share your creations with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3

Just Us Girls #753 - Word Week

The Word this week at Just Us Girls is JOY.  I am the hostess and thought this would help to finish up or get started with your Christmas cards.

Hop on over to JUGS to see what our fabulous Guest Designer, Jenn Borjeson and the rest of our amazing Design Team have created with JOY.

Used a Tim Holtz snow embossing folder with some blue glitter paper and sanded off some of the raised areas of the snowflakes.  Used Concord & 9th stamps and dies.  Pretty quick and easy.

Another using the same snowflake embossing folder this time swiping white ink across the raised snowflakes.  Die cut the oval and inked it with a darker blue ink and inlaid it back into the center.  Added the snowflake flourish (unknown/can't remember) and the sentiment.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #752 - Color Week

It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls with Carol Mayne as our lovely hostess and she has chosen a beautiful color combo for us to play with.

Since this is the first challenge of the month, that means we have a new Guest Designer!  Please welcome Jenn Borieson will be joining us for the entire month.  Hop on over to JUGS to see what Jenn and the rest of our amazing Design Team have created with these colors.

I had promised myself I would not buy any new products for Christmas, so I pulled out the old Gina K set and stamped the ornament onto some blue cardstock and heat embossed with gold ep and fussy cut.  Then I added some shimmer with a clear shimmer pen, which turned the blue a little darker.  Die cut the sentiment from white glitter paper and colored with a blue alcohol marker then added some clear ink then added some clear glaze.  Cut the ornament top and "AND" from white glitter cardstock and colored with a gold Sharpie.  Stamped and heat embossed the string to hand the ornament in gold.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.
