It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls with Carol Mayne as our lovely hostess and she has chosen a beautiful color combo for us to play with.
Since this is the first challenge of the month, that means we have a new Guest Designer! Please welcome Jenn Borieson will be joining us for the entire month. Hop on over to JUGS to see what Jenn and the rest of our amazing Design Team have created with these colors.
I had promised myself I would not buy any new products for Christmas, so I pulled out the old Gina K set and stamped the ornament onto some blue cardstock and heat embossed with gold ep and fussy cut. Then I added some shimmer with a clear shimmer pen, which turned the blue a little darker. Die cut the sentiment from white glitter paper and colored with a blue alcohol marker then added some clear ink then added some clear glaze. Cut the ornament top and "AND" from white glitter cardstock and colored with a gold Sharpie. Stamped and heat embossed the string to hand the ornament in gold.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Wowza, what a fancy ornament! I like the font on the sentiment too. Lovely card, Sue!
I'd love a real life set of these ornaments for my tree; it's beautiful! Lovely card to showcase this week's colours!

You and I were on the same wavelength digging into our Christmas stash. Your ornament is striking. I love all the sparkle and the bold sentiment. Wonderful way to showcase our colors!
What a gorgeous ornament, Sue, and how clever of you to color the glitter paper to fit the theme.
Sue...beautiful ornament!
