It's Stencil Week at Just Us Girls! Create whatever you like as long as it includes some stenciling.
Hop on over to JUGS to see what our amazing Guest Designer, Jeanne Jachna and the rest of our talented Design Team have created with stencils.
The background was created using a swirly stencil and Distress Oxide inks in blues and a greenish color. Layered the inks sponging through the stencil, then moving the stencil and inking with another color, etc. I think it has a watery look to it. Had a piece that had been sprayed with blue and green shimmer spray which I used for the background in the shaker window. Added some clear and colored (purple, green mix) and added the little whale.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

I 'whale-y' love your card, Sue! The swirly stenciling is a perfect ocean stage for your cute whale; the shaker element is a delightful touch.

It's an OCEAN of fun, Sue!

It looks like going to the actual open waters where aqua and teal dominate the gulf or ocean. Great idea...and a shaker to boot! Great idea!
This is a darling shaker card, Sue!
Moving the stencil and using different colors made a great watery background, Sue, and the sprayed panel compliments it well.
Sue... I hope you had a great holiday... you needed the time. Cute card and amazing stenciling!!
