It's Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls with Carol Mayne as our hostess and she has chosen a real beauty for us this week.

Embossed the black cardstock with a floral ef and colored in the images on the debossed side with Sakura Moonlight gel pens. Die cut the happy from some pink cardstock and then stamped the little birthday on the same cardstock in black, trimmed around the stamping and layered over the lower part of the die cut sentiment. Layered onto a light green card base.

I bet that floral really stands out off your card IRL with your coloring over embossing! Wonderful bright colors that really pop off the black!
This reminds me of Scratch Art, Sue, where you scrape away the black to reveal the color underneath. It's the lines in the gel pens that give that feeling and results in a beautiful card.
