Using a few unknown dies for this card for my sister wishing her a quick recovery and to let her know that I love her.  Heart die small cover plate for the background in ivory backed with pink shimmer cardstock.  Die cut the bigger heart from some darker pink, the same as the card base.  The band aid has a cut out heart that I used the same pink shimmer for the inlaid heart.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Still grad season here.  The background was stenciled with yellow stars on this mini slimline card.  Added a couple of die cut stars and a die cut banner with the sentiment heat embossed with yellow ep.  Had a little boo boo on the lower edge of the card, so I added a couple of blue striped pieces to the top and bottom edges.

A masculine birthday card with a lot going on.  Die cut the Tim Holtz gears and heat embossed with Spice embossing powder.  Used a piece of tissue paper and blotted up various inks in greens and browns, after it dried glued it to a piece of cardstock then ran it through my Big Shot with a gears embossing folder.  Embossed a piece of kraft with the same embossing folder then spritzed with Tim Holtz Mica Sprays in gold, silver and bronze.  Sprayed a piece of kraft cardstock with the gold Mica spray and stamped the sentiment and die cut.  Put it all together onto a brown card base.

It's Die Week at Just Us Girls and our amazing Designer Carol Mayne is our hostess.  This week Carol is challenging us the make a birthday card with dies.

Now hop on over to JUGS to see the birthday cards that Jeanne and the rest of our Design Team have created using die cuts.

This is for my son-in-law's birthday.  Die cut 3 beer bottles from Concord & 9th's Bottleful.  Colored by sponging on Distress inks.  After the ink dried, stenciled the dark brown stripes on the bottles and added some gold for the bottle caps. Stamped the dotted strip on the kraft base in white, but it wasn't showing up very well, so went over all the dots with white gel pen.  Lined the bottles up on the card base.   Die cut the sentiment and colored with a copper marker and layered onto a vellum shadow die cut.

Come share your die cut birthday cards with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

A little bit of recycling going on here for the lighthouse background, it's from a tissue box.  The die is an unbranded one that I don't remember where it came from.  Die cut from white cardstock and colored the windows, top of the lighthouse and rocks with alcohol ink markers.  Layered onto a piece of turquoise cardstock and onto a white card base.  Sentiment is from Reverse Confetti.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our Winner of the Week which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.
