Frog in a Pocket

Definitely a boy thing!  Die cut the pocket from Gina K Denim Blue cardstock and added the faux stitches with a yellow gel pen.  Stamped and colored the frog then cut him out and placed his fingers over the edge of the pocket and popped him up.  Layered onto a gray striped piece of patterned paper.  Stamped and die cut the banner and popped it up over the pocket.  Card base is Gina K Denim Blue.

This is for the following challenges:

6 Balloons for a 6 Year Old

Playing with Seize the Birthday with the toppings "hearts" and combining it with another one for

Stamp Away With Me - for their Birthday Celebration Week 2:  Step it Up

Used the new set Whole Lotta Happy with the coordinating dies and the Happy Trio die.  Hearts were stamped with Hero Arts Tide Pool and Powder Puff purple chalk ink.  Attached baker's twine to the balloons and ties the strings together.  The balloons and sentiment are all popped up with Pop Dots. The card base is from Core'dinations.

Chevron Birthday

A new challenge blog to me - Seize the Birthday, with the option of chevrons for toppings.

Thank you to Nancy for letting me know about this challenge blog.  Hopefully, no more last minute birthday card making.

I did a kind of rock n roll technique on the chevron by Gina K with yellow and red ink by Hero Arts.  Stamped the Imaginisce bird and paper pieced it with some fun stripes.  Stamped the berry branch and added some Viva Decor Paper Pen pearls in red, orange and yellow.  Added the sentiment by Gina K on a Spellbinders ribbon slide die cut and trimmed a scrap of dp as a faux ribbon.  It was all done and I noticed a tiny smudge!  Viva Decor Pearl Pen opal dots to the rescue.
