Think Pink Challenge

I made this baby girl gift set for the Think Pink Monthly Challenge over at Tombow USA Blog

I used various girly papers in pink, ivory and brown to cover the chipboard heart box and picture frame adhered with a Tombow glue stick.  Covered them with Mod Podge and embellished using chipboard letters, Prima Flowers and die cuts.  The inside of the heart box was painted pink using craft paint.  The heart box can be filled with assorted baby items:  onesies, socks, pacifiers, rattles, etc.  The card images are by Stampin Up and Imaginesce.

More Distressing

Another for the same challenges as last post!

JUGS - Distressing
Tombow - Book Page Inspiration
CASology - Cue Word - Book

Using more Core'dinations cardstock - Shattered Collection and Tim Holtz Distress Inks.   Embossed the background then lightly sponged Distress Ink over the raised surfaces.  Sponged more ink around the orange panel.  Stamped the image onto the book page and lightly sponged.  Layered the Grommet Tag after cutting out the middle, over the image piece.  Colored the flower with Inktense watercolor pencils.  Die cut the leaves and sanded the edges.  Attached the image piece with brass brads.  Tombow Multi used to glue everything in it's place.

Used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the book page to a piece of cardstock, stamped the Technique Tuesday Cattails with Memento Olive Grove, colored the fluffy part of the cattails with a Tombow brown marker.  Sponged Distress Inks around the edge of the tag.  Dyed the seam binding with Frayed Burlap Distress Stain.  Die cut the flourish and embossed the background (both Core'dinations) then sanded  Layered onto a brown card base.  Tombow Multi was used to glue the flourish, tag and background.

Baby Elephant

I love this sweet baby elephant from Eureka Stamps.  This card fits 3 challenges:  Eureka Stamps Challenge - Baby or Pregnancy Card,  CASual Fridays - to stamp of dp and CAS on Sundays - Pastel Pretties.

The elephant was stamped on dp then colored with Tombow Irojiten pencils and white gel pen added to his tusks and toe nails.  The b-a-b-y was stamped on the same dp.  Spellbinders dies used for the banner and the circles, circle punch used on the letters.  A piece of green washi tape and light blue baker's twine was added to anchor the baby banner.  Popped the elephant up on foam tabs by Tombow.

Quilted Baby Animals

Playing in a couple of challenges:  Eureka Stamps Challenge - Animal Catwalk and Tombow Blog monthly challenge of tic-tac-toe.

For the tic-tac-toe I used Tombow Foam Tabs, Mono Multi glue and Power Tabs.  The baby animals stamp is by Eureka and colored with Touch Twin Markers, cut out, then embossed with an embossing folder for texture.  Adhered onto die cut ovals with Foam Tabs.  Punched heart and glitter on elephant's toenails and little heart on giraffe adhered with Mono Multi.  Added a couple of strips of washi tape across the base layer.  Adhered the animals on the layered ovals to the background layer with Power Tabs.

Thanks for dropping in!
