Just Us Girls #533 - Photo Week

It's time to get inspired by Photo Week at Just Us Girls and Maria has chosen a beautiful and happy photo for us.

Sadly, this is our last week with Cornelia Wenokor as our Guest Designer and I would like to say Thank You for joining us this past month with all of your awesome creations!  Now, come check out JUGS to see how Cornelia and the rest of the Design Team were inspired by this photo.

I pulled out some older Gina K sets - Ribbon Stripes and Spring Basket.  Using my MISTI, stamped the flowers on watercolor paper, then flipped in upside down and stamped them again.  Masked off the flowers and stamped the stripes in Memento Flannel Gray.  Watercolored the flowers with Inktense Pencils.  The sentiment got lost on the stripes, so stamped it again on a white strip and added it over a think black strip of paper.  Matted onto some black and onto a Dandelion Yellow card base.

Foiled Candles

Playing around with foil and my laminator and since this card is so bright it fits the challenge at TIME OUT Challenges.

Colored the candles with Prismacolor markers then foiled with pink Fancy Foil on the candles and gold foil on the sentiment and stars. Matted with black cardstock and used foam dots to pop it up.  Added a strip of rainbow chevron paper and matted onto a bubblegum pink card base.

CPS Annversary

This also fits the Free For All Friday Challenge at Stamp TV  http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/free-for-all-friday-stamped-flower.  You are to use at least 2 shapes on your card plus a stamped flower.  I used Gina K's Happy Hearts by Tami Mayberry for the image and layered 5 different shaped dies.  Stamped the heart with Vivid Teal and then again in Memento Tangelo, cut the flower out of the orange and layered onto the teal heart.

This is for a first time pregnancy done in gender neutral colors.  I used the rocking horse from

Gina K's Oh Baby!  The horse is colored with Touch Twin Markers.  Cut out and layered with Nestie circles and open scalloped circle.  The background dp is by My Minds Eye and the strip across the center is a piece from my stash.
