Blast from the Past Blog Hop

Today we are helping Tami Mayberry end her month long Blast from the Past with a customer blog hop. Tami is an illustrator for Gina K Designs; and, if you haven't been to her blog this month to see all of the featured ideas using her stamp sets, you'll want to be sure and stop by today. You could win FIVE of her stamp sets simply by leaving comments on her blast from the past posts. You can click here to find more details.

Here is a list of all of the blog hop participants.

If you didn't come here from Vicki Dutcher's blog, you'll want to start back at the beginning on Tami's blog because each comment left on the blog participants' blogs will also count as an entry into the random drawing for the 5 stamp sets being given away.
Tami's set Live Life Loud.  The gradient rectangle was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on GK PL White cs, then stamped the floral and flourish image over that,  sponged that piece with Memento Dandelion, Cantelope and Rose Bud.  Stamped the guitar separately, cut out, colored with Prismacolor markers and layered over the rectangle.  Stamped the border directly on the K & Co dp.  Cut the sentiment layers out with Nesties and added Sakura gel pen dots in black.

Oh Boy! has been one of my favorite sets since I have 3 young grandsons.  The dp is a freebie from Two Peas in a Bucket.  Colored the helocopter with Prismacolor markers, cut out with Nesties Wonky Rectangles, left it in the die and traced around the inside rim with a turquoise gel pen.  Cut out the clouds and sun and placed them in the "sky".  Added a strip of Rocket Red cs, punched holes and added the yellow eyelets.

Another one using Oh Boy!  Again colored with Prismacolor markers.  I also used one of the stars from Stars.  The pennant was made by stamping one of the larger Stars on the back side of some dp and cut the triangle pieces off, flipped them over and strung them across the corner.  The tail on the sentiment was made using a square punch.

And last I used Happy Hearts.  Stamped the larger heart with Memento Rich Cocoa and the small one with Vivid Taupe.  I've had this dp forever and decided I better use some up.  The tiny scallops are the edge of some paper, self-adhesive lace. The hearts layer was cut with Nesties and Layered onto the Nesties scalloped circle.  Added 3 copper brads and the sentiment piece.  CS:  Gina K Pure Luxury Ivory and Chocolate Brown

Now, hop on over and visit Michelle Woerner for more ideas using stamp sets by Tami Mayberry and another chance to win. Also, If you have Tami's stamps and missed the deadline to sign up for the hop you can still play along by leaving a link on her blog.

Thanks for making so many clever cards for us to enjoy on the Hop. Each one had such artistic features. Loved the helicoper with its eyelet trimed stripe. Thanks for the hint for making a banner with the star stamp. Thanks for the inspiration.
