I made a card box that holds 12 cards and their envelopes using my ScorPal.  Used a lace Spellbinders die to make the burgundy lace edge and a flower die to make the 3d flower.  Tied some ribbon through a button and placed it in the flower center.

Vintage Sax Digi

I came upon this wonderful site that has tons of free vintage digis, Free Vintage Digital Stamps  http://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.com/.

This is also for the Stamp TV challenge Mix It Up Monday - Distressing http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/mix-it-up-monday-distressing-stv12mon5

The saxophone was colored with Touch Twin Markers in Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre and Cool Grey 3 and cut out.  Stamped Gina K's Vintage Borders with TH Distress Vintage Photo on Ivory Gina K cs and then cut out with Spellbinders Small Labels and layered onto another Spellbinders Large Label cut out of Bazzill dark brown cs.  Used a distresser tool on the edges of the labels and sponged the smaller stamped label with TH Distress inks in Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.  Ran a piece of Core'dinations brown cs in the Herringbone folder through my Big Shot and lightly sanded it.  Stamped and In Stitches by Gina K along the edge of a kraft base then added the embossed piece and the focal image.

Here are the markers I used

I used Tami Mayberry's set Gnome One Like You and sentiment from Spring Mix both by Gina K and a $ stamp from Michael's that I just picked up.  Added some black glaze pen to the flamingo's eyes to make them stand out.  The card base is from a card pack by Studio G that I grabbed at Walmart.  Added pink gel pen dots to the scalloped edge and a strip of pink dotted washi tape on the inside to make the scallops on the front more pronounced.

CPS Sketch 253

I made 2!

The only stamping is the sentiment by Gina K stamped with Vivid Teal ink.  Kraft card base layered with Gina K Pure Luxury Ivory and Turquoise Sea, DCWV Linen Closest Stack.  Added ribbon and the Spellbinders Lotus Blossom die cut.



Stamped the Grand Damask by Gina K on a kraft card base with Colorbox Chalk Chestnut Roan.  Added a strip of Core'dinations Timeless collection.  Used Spellbinders dies to layer the sentiment.  Brushed Tim Holtz crackle paint in Tarnished Bronze over the label and added the brown brads which were colored with Touch Twin markers.

CPS Anniversary Day 15

 Here is the final sketch of the celebration.

I used Tami's set Oh Boy! and Special Delivery by Gina K.  Colored the helicopter with Touch Twin Markers and cut it out.  Used some fun digi dp that I had saved to my computer, but don't remember where I found it.  Added a little punched heart on the sentiment piece.

CPS Anniversary Days 13 & 14

More anniversary fun!  CPS is still celebrating 5 years and here is the sketch for Day 13

I used Tami's Happy Hearts by Gina K.  The heart was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with red ep and punched out with a Fiskar's punch..  Used a Touch Twin marker to color the diamonds on the heart.  Cuttlebug Herringbone embossing folder with kraft cs then lightly brushed a Colorbox Cat's Eye Warm Red ink over the ridges.  Laced some black and white Baker's twine on the open scalloped circle.  Used the Rickrack die by Spellbinders and threaded some red cs through the holes.

  Used the stamp set Botanicals by Gina K and the senitment from Picture It!.  The background is Core'dinations Kraft Core (love it!) embossed with Victorian Cuttlebug folder then lightly sanded to reveal the kraft core.  Ink used:  Vivid Teal and Taupe.  Added a strip of washi tape and lightly sponged the edges of the kraft base with Taupe ink.  The flower looked a little washed out, so touched it up with a couple of Prismacolor markers.

CPS Anniversary Day 12

The rose and leaves from Gina K's set A Year of Flowers by Melanie Muenchinger were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Prismacolor markers, cut out, then the rose was covered with Crackle Accents.  The dp was from my scrap boxes and the doily die was a RAK that I sponged with Memories Black ink.  The ribbon wasn't quite the color I wanted, so I colored it with a Prismacolor marker to match the rose.

A Simple Valentine

Creative Belli Challenge #136 is to use hearts/valentine for a card  http://bellichallenge.blogspot.com/2012/02/belli-challenge-136-heartsvalentine.html

I couldn't make this frilly because my grandson would not appreciate that.  I used 2 different polka dot patterned dp (I have boxes of pieces of cs that I had to have)  on a Gina K Pure Luxury White cs base.  The die is by QuikKuts.  Stamped the heart from Gina K's Happy Hearts in red and the sentiment from the same set in black.  Added brads, which I have a lot of and hardly ever use.  Quick and simple!
