Just Us Girls #360 - Trend Week

It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa has us playing with Sequins!  I love sequins, they add a nice finishing touch to cards as well as great fillers for shaker cards.

We have our very talented Guest Designer Kathy Schweinfurth with us again this week as well as the rest of the JUGS Design Team.

This uses the Vintage Roses and Label Love from Altenew as well as the Scribble Circle and striped die cut from Reverse Confetti.  Still trying to find the right combo of colors on these roses.  After stamping and die cutting the leaves I thought they were too dark and not enough definition so I added a little chalk in a lime shade to brighten them up.

What is your favorite way to use sequins?  Come show us your creation and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would put you in the running for a chance to be our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Fabulous card Sue. Love the layout and the colours. Those flowers are gorgeous. Nicely finished with those sequins - perfect.

Love those flowers with the gray polka dots, Sue. I made myself a cheat sheet of colors for those layered stamps. I just played around until I found what I liked then stamped it again and wrote the colors names on it.

I just bought the Vintage Roses set, but haven't played with it yet. I love the way yours came out. The colors are so vivid. Great color combo with the gray, yellow and that pop of gorgeousness!
