I would like to welcome our Guest Designer for the month of April - Laurie Unger! Come on over the the JUGS Challenge Blog to see what Laurie and the rest of the Design Team have created for our Word Week Challenge.
Started out by masking and sponging the background for the sand, sea and sky using Distress Inks. Stamped the shells from the Gina K set - Gifts From the Sea, which I thought was pretty appropriate for this challenge. Cut out the shells and scattered on the beach. Stamped the little sailboat on the horizon and added the sentiment.
I used the sketch from CAS Colour & Sketches Challenge.
Come play along with our Word Challenge and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week and that would then put you in the running for a chance become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Well this is darn near perfect for the challenge. I love how you have scattered the shells on the beach....wish I was there right now soaking up some sun. It's raining and dreary here in Grayling today. LOVE your card, my dear!!
