Welcome to our January Guest Designer Cathy McCauley [cathymac]! Come and see what Cathy and the Rest of the JUGS Design Team have created.
This was created with a heavy heart for a friend who unexpectedly lost her husband just 9 days before Christmas. I smooshed some Distress Oxide Inks in blues on my kraft mat and dragged and pounced the cardstock through and in the ink. When I was happy with the results and it was dry I stamped the flowers and the sentiment in Versafine Onyx ink, matted it on some black and used some blue cardstock for the base. Very simple in technique and design.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would put you in the running for a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Love that bg! Gorgeous in the blues
Sue, you've created a gentle, gorgeous sympathy card for your friend; so sorry to hear of her loss. You're sure to lift her spirits with your compassion and kindness. So thrilled to be joining you and the rest of the team: THANK YOU for welcoming me on board!
