We have Greta Hess with us again this week as our Guest Designer! Check out the JUGS blog to see how Greta and the rest of the amazing Design Team have used background stamps on their creations.
I pulled out one of the first background stamps I ever bought, it's a floral pattern from SU. Inked the stamp with Memento teal ink and stamped onto some SU Sage Shadow. Stamped the floral frame from Gina K with Versamark and heat embossed with Stampendous Aged Marine ep, heat embossed and die cut with the coordinating Spellbinders die. This powder has bits of gold in it! Stamped the sentiment inside the frame, then reverse masked off the white center and used a little script background stamp also from Gina K and stamped in Sage Shadow ink. Layered onto a white piece and onto a Sage Shadow card base.
Now it's your turn to show us your creations using background stamps. You could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.
I'm also adding this to the CAS on Friday Challenge #153 - Embossing (dry or heat)

Luscious card! Those colors together are fabulous
That floral background is absolutely gorgeous--love your card!
This is gorgeous, Sue. At first I thought it was emboss resist on the background because those colors work so well together. That embossing powder is fabulous.
Stunning background and colour choice Sue. A beautiful card.
Those old SU bg stamps were (and still are) fabulous! I have several that I cannot part with! Love how you stamped it in darker ink on the lighter cardstock. Very pretty card!
