Sadly, this is our last week with our September Guest Designer, Janet Ribet! Thank you Janet for joining us this past month with all of your awesome creations! Now hop on over to JUGS to see how this Photo inspired Janet and the rest of the amazing Design Team.
Stamped red ink on red cardstock with the woodgrain background from Concord & 9th. Stamped and die cut the sunflowers from Gina K's A Year of Flowers and colored with Touch Twin markers. Stenciled the leaves on the background with Distress Oxide ink in Peeled Paint. Added a piece of cardboard from some packaging, layered the sunflowers and added the sentiment banner tied with some raffia.
Come show us how you are inspired by this Photo and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week! If chosen as our Chic of the Week, you then would be eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer. Please limit your entries to 3

This is so pretty! I love the cardboard in the background. Great take on the photo!
I think it's so funny that you and Ina used cardboard on your cards. This is super Sue! Such a great color combo!
The woodgrain background and corrugated paper give a wonderful rustic look to your card, Sue.
Great minds with the cardboard Sue. Love the bright background and how you kept your cardboard natural. Stunning sunflowers. So rich in colour!
Looks like you and Ina were channeling one another with using cardboard! Such amazing texture! Love your gorgeous sunflowers and oh, how they pop against the red woodgrain!

That background is so cool! I thought it was pattern paper. Love the use of the cardboard too! Lovely card!
