It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby is challenging us to use an embossing folder!
Check out JUGS to see how our Guest Designer, Shawna Standish and the rest of the fabulous Design Team have used embossing folders.
Using Core-dinations Kraft Core cardstock run thought my Big Shot with a brick embossing folder. Sanded the raised bricks to reveal the Kraft core. Stamped some flourishes with Versafine black ink. Stamped the sentiment with the same ink and die cut with a fishtail die. Added some teal colored gel pen to some of the flourishes. Covered a small heart with Nuvo drops then layered onto a kraft card base.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Your kraft/blue brick wall is a wonderful background for the pretty flourishes, sweet sentiment and sparkly heart!

I have some old kraft core paper but mine works the opposite, sand the color get the kraft. I love how yours revealed that beautiful blue, Sue. So eye catching with that 'climbing vine'.
The brick works perfectly with the sanding!
Love the look you achieved here Sue! I always forget this technique and it always has such good results like it has here! Beautifully done! Take care!
Super simple embossed card Sue. How many of us have that card stock and don't use it often enough. Lovely sparkle finish.
This is such a cool look! It reminds me of graffiti on a brick wall. Great use of the embossing folder!
Wow! This is such a pretty take on the embossing theme, Sue! I love the color scheme and the gorgeous flourishes.
