Just Us Girls #593 - Color Week

It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Angie has chosen a fabulous color combination for us to inspire us!

Check out JUGS to see how our Guest Designer, Chrissie Stokes and the rest of the Design Team have created using this color pallet.

Stamped the Gina K label with Memento Teal ink and then again with Versamark on light gray striped dp and heat embossed.  Die cut with the coordinating Spellbinders die.  Colored the flowers with yellow gel pen and stamped the sentiment in teal.  Stamped the Crosshatch background with Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade ink.  Die cut the butterfly and heat embossed with silver and fussy cut a vellum piece and colored with Touch Twin markers.

Playing around with my Dahlia Turnabout stamp in the challenge colors.  I didn't like the one shade of gray and tried stamping over it in teal and did not get the effect I was looking for so I used the coordinating die and die cut the ugly petals out of the flower.  Added double sided tape to the back and adhered to a piece of teal cardstock and added some clear glitter over the die cut petals.  Added to a panel of gray stripes and onto a teal card base.  Sentiment stamped in teal and punched out with a word window punch.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

I love the blend of color on your butterfly, Sue, and that crosshatch in yellow on gray is fabulous. The turnabout looks great in the colors too.
