It's time for Photo/Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls! The very talented Carol McFarland is our hostess this week and has chosen a fabulous photo/moodboard for our inspiration.
Come check out JUGS to see how this moodboard inspired our Guest Designer, Jules Peddicord and the rest of the amazing Design Team.
I was inspired by the colors and the daisies. I pulled out this very old Stampendous Retro Border set dated 2006. Stamped in black ink on kraft. Used white paint to fill in the petals and Moonlight gel pen on the flower centers. Touched up some of the black lines that got some white paint on them with a black gel pen. Stamped the sentiment from Gina K, trimmed down and put it all together on a white card base.
Come share your creation with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

It's called retro and you made it look that way by stamping on kraft and painting the flowers. Great job, Sue. I love it!
Sue... absolutely love your mod daisies!!!
Great use of the moodboard and your card design is so fun too! I love how you took the colors and make them your own!
The white paint on the kraft = FABULOUS! A nice pop and great inspired card~
There's a retro 60s/70s vibe happening here and it's terrific!
This is such a wonderful card and idea! Very clever Sue!!
Simply fabulous and so different. Those daisies sure pop against the kraft paper.
The white paint on the kraft really pops!!! And good for you using an oldie but goodie stamp.
Your stamping/colouring on kraft with this particular stamp is soooo cool! Retro rad in every way!
hugs~carol
