Just Us Girls #664

It's time for one of our newly added challenges at Just Us Girls - CAS Card Week!  The talented Carol Mayne is our hostess and wants us to make a CAS birthday card.  Don't forget to leave lots of open space and keep it Clean and Simple!

Come on over to JUGS to see what our awesome Guest Designer, Jules Peddicord and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created for this week's challenge.

The candle loaded cake was a freebie by Art Impressions.  Stamped and colored the cake and candles with Touch Twin markers and gel pens.  Stamped the sentiment in black.  Die cut the panel and ran a black marker around the edge to give it some definition and mounted to a white card base.  Decided it needed a little something more, so die cut the black frame using 2 different sizes of Spellbinders rectangle dies and placing it around the cake panel.

Now it's your turn to share your creation with us at JUGS.  You could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Don't we all need a cake stamp with numerous candles as we and our friends age up and up? such a fun and cheery CAS card!

You need a sentiment that says "Too many candles, not enough cake", Sue. I love the glow you gave the burning candles.

This is very pretty, but you better blow out those candles before it combusts! Lol!

That cake does look like it might combust like Lisa said! Awesome CAS design!

Love this overflowing cake with those lit candles Sue. Get them off that cake so we can all share in the yummy-ness. Great framing to hightlight that cake.
