Just Us Girls #668 - CAS Week

 It's time for another one of our new challenges at Just Us Girls - CAS Week!  Nancy is our hostess this week and she is challenging us to make a CAS card with Coloring!

My coloring isn't the greatest, but here goes!  I recently acquired this set, Lucky Charm by Photoplay at a local Ben Franklin that has an amazing craft section.  Stamped the image and colored with Touch Twin markers on a Gina K heavy weight white card base (no bleed through).  Added a shadow at his feet and around the image itself with a very light gray marker.

Stamped the sentiment in dark green and the shamrocks in a lighter green.

Just Us Girls #667 - Photo/Moodboard Week

 It's time for Photo/Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and Vicki has chosen a Moodboard filled with lots of inspiration!

I was inspired by the photo in the lower right hand corner, but this didn't come together like I envisioned in my head.  Oh well, I'm just going with it.  The background was made with Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick and Saltwater Taffy along with some white shimmer spray.  The leafy branch is a very old Sizzex die that was watercolored with shades of blue.  Offset on a navy panel and adhered to a white card base.  Sentiment was stamped in Memento Nautical blue and punched out with a word window punch.

 It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and we have the fabulous Carol Mc as our hostess and her word is Sparkle!

Playing around with my Concord & 9th making a shaker filled with beads and sequins.  Die cut the heart window from white and using foam tape adhered to a white shimmer piece and then onto a white linen base.  Added the layered hearts for the sentiment.

I used a negative piece of very sparkly Radiant Red foil from Gina K and adhered to some pink cardstock.  Die cut the gnome from some textured red and a piece of the leftover pink Core'dinations White Wash that was embossed with a striped folder that I used on last week's card.  Added a die cut heart and stamped "be mine" for yet another Valentine card.  Foil is so hard to get a good photo of and still show the sparkle.

 It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and the talented Lisa K has chosen a fabulous color combo for us to play with!

A big welcome to our February Guest Designer - Karen Walker!  Check out JUGS to see what Karen and the rest of the talented Design Team have created with these colors.

Sentiment, a very old SU set - So Very, heat embossed in white on kraft.  Stamped the donut, colored with a kraft colored marker and pink gel pen for the sprinkles and covered the frosting with a clear glaze and used the coordinating die to cut out.  The striped square is a piece of Core'dinations pink White Wash that was embossed with a striped folder and sanded to reveal the pink core.  Added the little hearts which were left over from some other die cuts.
