Just Us Girls #666

It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and we have the fabulous Carol Mc as our hostess and her word is Sparkle!

Hop on over to JUGS to see what our amazing Guest Designer, Karen Walker and the rest of the talented Design Team have created with Sparkle!

Playing around with my Concord & 9th making a shaker filled with beads and sequins.  Die cut the heart window from white and using foam tape adhered to a white shimmer piece and then onto a white linen base.  Added the layered hearts for the sentiment.

I used a negative piece of very sparkly Radiant Red foil from Gina K and adhered to some pink cardstock.  Die cut the gnome from some textured red and a piece of the leftover pink Core'dinations White Wash that was embossed with a striped folder that I used on last week's card.  Added a die cut heart and stamped "be mine" for yet another Valentine card.  Foil is so hard to get a good photo of and still show the sparkle.

Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would put you in the running for a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Sue, your shaker card is sparkly fabulousness! The colors of your shaker bits against the white make it striking and fun!!! I know that it is even prettier in person!!!!

Sue... I think those hearts are a border. Brilliant idea to inlay them in your shaker window! The gnome, though, has my heart...just adorable!

Two CUTE cards, Sue! Love those little white hearts decorating your shaker window. I can see the sparkle on your second card, wowee!

Both cards are great, but I'm in love with that shaker card! Love the white hearts across the window and the bright sequins inside the shaker! Great way to add the sentiment, too.

My mind didn't even think shaker when I saw this challenge coming up. I love the white hearts cascading the front of your shaker card and your gnome card looks very shimmery too. YOu outdid yourself with the sparkle this week! Well done!

Shaker or gnome? Hard to choose between cards with such fun elements, Sue. Both are fantastic valentines.

Loving both these cards Sue. Sparkle abounds. Fabulous colourful shaker card and then your gnomey glittery background is amazing.

Double love for both your cards! Crushing all over the fabulous shaker/hearts pairing on the first; crushing over your gnome (I'm using this one for some St. Patrick's Day makes) on the sparkly stage. Delights, indeed!
