Just Us Girls #713 - Word Week

It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Elizabeth has chosen the perfect word with Valentine's Day right around the corner - Love!

Come on over to JUGS to see what our Guest Designer Denise Morgans and the rest of our Design Team have created for LOVE.

And yes, this is another masculine Valentine since I have all grandsons.  Found this piece of striped cardstock in my stash and die cut the sentiment from the striped piece in the opposite direction that I used it on the background.  Die cut the shadow die in red.  Had the big heart laying in my pieces bowl and added a little mirrored heart from the same stash.  Stamped the you, which is actually part of a larger sentiment, die cut it and then fussy cut just the you.  Matted with the same red and the shadow and put it together onto a kraft card base.

Come play along with us at JUGS and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

I'm also entering this over at The Male Room - Valentine/Use a Heart

And it is also a fit for the challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz - Love

I love the way you placed the stripes in your background and the die cut "love" in opposite directions. This is a wonderful guy card!

So clever to use the stripe in the opposite direction, Sue. The red shadow makes it very readable.

Great masculine valentine!

Your use of the Bolder Striped paper in opposite directions gives this the perfect "male" vibe for your valentine card. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing this with us at C4G this round. Cheers, Jolanda - DT
