It's time for our Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and Ina has chosen a beautiful one for our inspiration.
Come check out our JUGS blog to see what our fabulous Guest Designer, Denise Morgans and the rest of our amazing Design Team have created with the Moodboard as inspiration.
A little recycling going on, the background is the top of a Kleenex box which I thought picked up the colors and the water look from the Moodboard. Die cut an oval in white to cover the raw edge of the opening. I was playing around and smeared purple and blue Distress Oxide inks over some white cardstock, then embossed with a bubble ef which I inked with some more DO ink before embossing. I didn't like the original effect, so sprayed that embossed panel with some Seafoam shimmer spray. Matted with some very old SU Vintage Violet. Stamped the shells from Gina K onto some patterned paper and fussy cut then used Prismacolor pencils on the shell in the front for more definition. Added the sentiment that was stamped in teal ink and die cut and put it all together onto a blue card base.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Awesome inspired Card. Love the coloring of your shells. Well done. 😊
You nailed the colors of the moodboard as well as the bechy feel! And you are so creative to see the kleenex box and use it!!! Stampin on the patterned paper is ingenious too! Great sea-worthy card!
Kleenex box background? Perfect! Your techniques with the inks, eF and sprays capture the 'ocean' movement we see in the mood board. And those shells? Soooo pretty! Wonderful inspiration!

Sue... you most certainly were bubbling over with creativity when you made this card! Who would have thought of a Kleenex box! Just great. Love the bubble background as well... and your amazing coloring on the shells. Great card!
