It's time for our Color Week Challenge at Just Us Girls and Lisa has chosen a fabulous combination for us to play with.
A huge welcome to Kerry Parkinson who will be joining us for the month of October as our Guest Designer! Check out JUGS to see what Kerry and the rest of our amazing Design Team have created with this combo.
The embossed background was a piece I had laying on my desk with the oval already cut out, so decided to put it to use. I inked over it with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink, but decided it was too dark, so sponged over that with some white ink, still a little dark, but oh well. Die cut the branch and colored the leaves with chartreuse colored ink and the stem with the Hickory Smoke. Added some Nuvo drops in light blue to the berries. Die cut the sentiment from some light blue and the shadow from some light green vellum. Put it together on a white linen card base.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Winner of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

I love this, Sue. And I don't think the gray is too dark at all. It helps to accentuate the other colors.
You have used our colors this week so well...equal amounts of each that highlight them so well. The soft green vellum is a nice touch too, as are the Nuvo drops! Nice card idea!
Fun use of the colors!
Simpleee fabulous CAS card Sue. Ever so pretty.
The shade of grey works for me; a wonderful background for your pretty foliage and sentiment.
